There are two (2) types of divorce records. Divorce decree. This document is prepared by the court. It details the terms and conditions of the divorce. It is signed by the judge and filed with the County Clerk, usually in the County where the plaintiff resided. To get a copy of a divorce decree, contact the County Clerk.
